Build Your Own Omelette: The Combos That Actually Work
Not all fillings play nicely together. Our kitchen team shares their tried-and-true combinations — and the ones they refuse to make.
The Base Is Everything
A great omelette starts with great eggs, cooked right. We use fresh cracked eggs, a hot pan, and enough butter to keep the eggs from sticking. The outside should be just set, the inside still slightly loose. That's the window. Miss it and you have scrambled eggs folded in half.
The Combos That Actually Work
These are the combinations our kitchen team stands behind:
- Western Classic: Ham, bell peppers, onion, cheddar — the one that never fails
- Meat Lover: Bacon, sausage, ham, American cheese — hearty, filling, no apologies
- Greek Style: Spinach, feta, tomato, black olives — bright and clean
- Mushroom Swiss: Sautéed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, a little onion — rich and savory
- Veggie Build: Peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomato, mozzarella — fresh and colorful
The Combos That Don't Work
Some things just don't belong in an omelette:
- Too many wet ingredients (tomatoes + mushrooms + peppers = soup)
- Mixing strong cheeses like blue cheese with delicate vegetables — it overwhelms everything
- More than 4 fillings — by the time you fold it, everything falls out
How to Order Custom
Our custom omelette is on the menu for a reason — tell us what you want and we'll build it. The rule of thumb: pick 2–3 fillings and 1 cheese. Keep it focused. The best omelettes are simple.
Come in, bring an appetite, and we'll take care of the rest.
